ENTER NOW FOR A CHANCE TO BE STREAMED TO THE WORLD FROM FOWLER’S LIVE
As an emerging act in the music scene, it can be tough getting a break. You’ve got your line-up locked in, you’ve spent time and energy crafting those songs and you’ve sweated through hours of rehearsal time getting everything down tight. Maybe you’ve played a few gigs and, supported by friends and family, this created an initial buzz.
But where do you go next?
In a crowded music marketplace where everyone is spruiking their wares via a Soundcloud or Bandcamp account, what is your next move to really grow your audience?
NETGIGS could have just the answer you are seeking with Fire at Fowler’s, the official venue launch for the company’s innovative online platform that allows punters to experience live music from their lounge-room or anywhere in the world. There are two slots available at this August 24 gig for up-and-coming Adelaide acts, and you can apply right now.
This represents a rare opportunity for global exposure, but it is also a chance to showcase your music in front of an enthusiastic local audience at one of Adelaide’s most iconic venues, Fowler’s Live, which is partnering with NETGIGS to present the gig.
A former factory dating back to the turn of the twentieth century, Fowler’s became an entertainment venue in the 1970s as the home of the Adelaide Fringe before transforming into a permanent live music venue in 2003 with a licenced capacity of 500.
The two selected acts will share the Fowler’s stage with Audio Reign, Jack Buchanan, Imogen Brave, Paula Standing, Nuseum and Damon Sparkes.
Performances filmed for Fire at Fowler’s will also be used as pre-shows when NETGIGS streams the concerts on the international stage in future, creating further opportunities for exposure.
The competition is open to Adelaide based music acts of all persuasions, but hurry, because entries close August 12.
