It has taken 7 long years for the band to produce a debut album and this one was well worth the wait. Fell At Ten will take you on a journey of emotion and sounds, from punchy punk to big rock anthems to psychedelic segues; there’s even a few little easter eggs for the die hard fans that have been there since the beginning.
Fell At Ten’s story begins in the garage of singer/bassist Jake Daulby, in little ol’ Adelaide. Timmy Raspe and Darren Chalker answered the call from an ad looking to start a band. With influences that include, Deftones, System Of A Down, Tool, Brand New, Butterfly Effect, Muse, Periphery, Dead Letter Circus, Guns n Roses, & Jeff Buckley, that little garage was a melting pot of alt rock & sonic exploration.. it was beautiful.
Just a short walk down the road was the recording studio, House of SAP (sound and production). This is where the 3 piece met young gun producer Jarred Nettle, aka J-Netts. Jarred was able to capture the raw energy of Darren, the twisted textures of Timmy and the silky sounds of Jake to create the debut album, Another Day, that is unlike anything you’ve heard before. Granted, the influences are apparent and it will feel familiar, but across the whole album, you won’t be able to find any other band for comparison. In fact, i challenge you to try.
Welcome to Fell At Ten.
